Nestled in the lush green and tranquil surroundings of Nalagarh, Shivalik Valley School is a co-educational senior secondary institution committed to delivering holistic education. Established in the year 2000, the school stands firmly by its motto—"Excellence Through Perseverance"—aiming to cultivate a lifelong love for learning, dignity, and compassion in every student.
To ensure the comprehensive development of each child, the school is equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities that support intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth. A team of dedicated, talented, and experienced educators drives the school’s vision forward, offering a rich blend of academic, sporting, and cultural activities.

Shivalik Valley Education Society was established on 5th November 2002 and is registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860, bearing registration number 781/2002.
Recognizing the need for quality education in the region, the Executive Committee decided to start a school under the name Shivalik Valley School, located in Kirpalpur, Nalagarh. Thus, an English medium school was born with a humble beginning of just ninety students in its inaugural year. The school received affiliation from the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala, in 2003.
The core aim of the school is to nurture students as complete individuals—fostering their natural growth, curiosity, and creativity—rather than merely preparing them for a profession or career. Students are encouraged to explore, inquire, and learn through self-discovery. The school follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and grading system, in line with the latest directives issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, helping to minimize undue academic pressure and stress.
The school boasts a beautiful and spacious campus, spread over more than 2 acres. The infrastructure includes well-ventilated classrooms, a well-stocked library, a fully-equipped science laboratory, sprawling playgrounds, and modern facilities that support holistic education.

Today the role of school is not only to pursue acedemic excellence but aslo to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners. Our aim is not only to give certificates but ensure that our students aim to excel in every sphere of their life.
The motto of the school is "Excellence Through Preseverance". Every school teaches how to read and write but we teach, in addition, how to survive and meet any situation which life throws at one. We are grateful to one and all that have helped us in setting up this institute and also in running it successfully and always except the cooperation.
